Fitness that makes you feel fabulous.

Functional fitness focuses on giving you the strength, balance and flexibility you need for day-to-day living activities, like reaching for things on shelves, putting things in low cabinets, getting in and out of the shower safely and minimizing your potential for falling. Here’s what we offer to help you get functionally fit:

  • Fall Prevention Program–a 12-week multimodal program to help you stay strong and confident on your feet
  • Balance Program (part of our Fall Prevention Program)–Tai Chi, exercise on our HUR Smart Balance Trainer and assessments of your living space to eliminate potential hazards
  • Walking Program–group walks in our neighborhood and rooftop walking track to build cardiovascular strength and train you to avoid hazards
  • Personal Training Program–workouts custom tailored to your ability, needs, likes and goals
